Lead organisation
Future Proof Intelligence
Future Proof Intelligence is the initiator and lead organisation for the Trust in Intelligence project.
The work of Future Proof Intelligence focuses on how emerging technologies and governance systems can serve public institutions and support trustworthy, human centred futures. The Trust in Intelligence initiative grows from this mission, with a clear focus on responsible use of artificial intelligence and practical audit frameworks in public services.
In this project Future Proof Intelligence coordinates the overall concept, leads the audit framework and works closely with public administrations and partners to turn ideas and audit methods into concrete practice. The team brings experience in AI governance, public sector innovation and European cooperation projects, including work that aligns with Digital Europe and AI Act implementation needs.
Core project team
The core team is responsible for the day to day development and coordination of the initiative. Together they hold the audit framework, project design and practical support for public administrations and partners.

Development of diagnostic tools and the compliance twin concept for AI systems

Daniel van Griensven

Engagement with public administrations and pilot sites in several countries
European network building and partner relationships across policy, research and GovTech
Communication and stakeholder management for funders and institutions
As the Digital Europe partnership takes shape, the core team will grow to include leads for evaluation, digital infrastructure and policy connection so that all key functions for a European audit hub are covered.
European partners and consortium
The full consortium for the Digital Europe partnership is now in preparation. We are working with potential partners across several European countries to shape a shared project that connects public administrations, research institutes, technology providers and policy level actors.
This page will be updated as partners are confirmed. It will describe the role of each organisation in areas such as:
- Hosting and supporting pilot administrations
- Audit tool development and technical infrastructure
- Research, evaluation and evidence building
- Policy dialogue, dissemination and scaling
Interested organisations are welcome to contact the team to explore how they might contribute in future phases, either as core partners or as associated members of the hub.
How we work with public administrations
The project team sees each public administration as an active partner, not only a site for implementation. The work is collaborative and reflective, grounded in the reality of daily public service operations.
- Co-design of how audit tools and compliance frameworks fit local context and culture
- Regular check-in sessions and shared reflection on what is emerging
- Open sharing of tools, templates and learning from across the network
- Clear agreements on data use, privacy and ethical practice
In this way the project grows through mutual learning between public administrations, the core team and European partners and produces results that can be trusted and reused across countries.
